Government orders Officers to give full respect to MLAs and MPs

In Haryana, the MPs and MLAs who are complaining about being neglected by the officers will now be recognized as VVIP (very very important person). Officers in government offices and public functions will not only stand up the chair but will also give them their due respect. The government has issued the order and the government has tied it up in the protocol.

In the new system, the officers will answer every question of MPs and MLAs with the whole civilization and courtesy. They will explain the reasons for not providing information. Apart from this, the officers will also have to implement appropriate suggestions of MPs and MLAs. The strict instructions have been issued to the officers from the Chief Secretary's office that if MP-MLA comes into their office or public program, then they have to stand up and welcome them. At the same time, provide all the information sought for with full respect.

The government has cited the protocol to make sure that all the government officials take the call of MPs and MLAs, and in case of an inconvenience, inform them immediately via SMS. All the requests of them will be heard carefully. In any parliamentary area, if there is any program, call the MPs there and give them a convenient seat. If the constituency of an MP falls in two districts then the officer should call the MP in both the districts.

Similarly, complaints of violation of the protocol and not satisfactory action have increased. After the matter was raised in the Lok Sabha, the Committee of Parliamentary Affairs had on January 4 instructed all the State Governments to take strict vigil in this regard. Taking this step, the state government has issued this circular. The order clearly states that the government will take action against those who violate the guidelines.
