New Delhi: Following PDP-BJP break up, Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra has called an all-party meeting here on Friday to talk about the security situation in the state. The officials stated for the all-party meeting, called as imposition of the Governor's rule, invitations have been sent to heads of state units of national political parties.

After assuming the office of administration in the state, this will be Vohra's first dealings with lawmakers of mainstream political parties. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ended its alliance with the Mehbooba Mufti-led PDP-BJP and the state was put under the Governor's rule under Article 92 of the state constitution.

In a press meet BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav on Wednesday addressed that the decision of withdrawal of ruling allience with the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir was a "difficult thing to digest" for him but it was taken in the "larger interest" of people of the state and India.

He also asserted that he was one of the persons who was involved in forming this alliance. He worked for 40 days with the PDP leader Haseeb Drabu on building the agenda agreement.

He also added that It was very difficult thing for me to digest when he was communicated that he should take this step now.

All of a sudden the BJP exited the alliance, it had formed with the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in 2015, prompting Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to leave and Governor's rule imposed with Governor NN Vohra putting the state assembly in vibrant suspension.
