What is software testing:

Whenever a software is created then its quality is checked. Software Test  Engineer is a profession similar to software development. After software engineers and developers prepare any software, their work is being tested.

The work of software testers:

The software tester's job is to evaluate the quality, efficiency and stability of the software. Mainly, there are two types of testing i.e Manually Testing and Automated Testing. Manually testers test the software in general while testing tools are used in automated testing.

Courses and qualifications:

Some of the institutions provide diploma and certificate courses in software testing. In general for admission in this course, many institutes require BSCA degree, BCA, MSC, BEA, BTech, ME, M.Tech.
