There are 50,128 polling stations in Gujarat, for which 81,860 Ballot Units (BUs); 66,358 Control Units (CUs) and 71,564 VVPATs are organized. This is informed by EC , translates into a more than ample reserve of 63% ballot units, 32% control units and 43% VVPATs for the Gujarat assembly polls.

After casting vote with his wife CM Rupani talked to media "I urge to all the voters to come out and make sure 100% voting. There is no doubt, the voting is happening peacefully," states CM Vijay Rupani.

We are going to win 150+ seats under the leadership of PM Modi Ji, we face no obstacles: Jitu Vaghani, BJP Gujarat Chief, and candidate from Bhavnagar West, said in media briefing 

Overall of 977 nominees are ready to fight in the Poll-battle ground of Gujarat from Kutch, Morbi, Jamnagar, Surendranagar, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Rajkot, Botad, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Dang and Valsad districts. 

We're noticing that the polling hasn't been accurately smooth in some places, as per reports temporary malfunction or fault of equipment of the EVMs and VVPATs in Rajkot, Rajpipla, Bhavnagar, Palitana, Porbandar. In Porbandar, there were 8 voting stations where EVM equipment found fault, and in Amreli five voting booths have glitches in EVM said EC of India
