Rajkot (Gujarat) [India], Nov 27 (NT): Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh visited Rajkot following Gujarat Polls, slammed Rahul Gandhi and told the Congress party will be beaten in the state, like it did in Uttar Pradesh.

"Rahul Gandhi came all the streets of Uttar Pradesh throughout the state elections, but what gained Congress? We all know that and the same thing will take place in Gujarat Poll as well," he quoted.

In Rajkot, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister admired Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated Gujarat is progressing and that he likes "coming to Gujarat".

CM Singh insisted that Gujarat‘s growth has occurred because of Prime Minister Modi's charm.

"When we work in Chhattisgarh, we mull over the Gujarat Model as our stimulation," CM Singh asserted.

CM Raman Singh further said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought "so many honors to Gujarat and the nation" adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is appealing to vote for progress and not on the basis of caste.

"I expect that people of Gujarat and Rajkot are sensible and will cast their vote for BJP," he said.

The elections in Gujarat will be seized in two phases on December 9 and 14.
