With just t72 hrs left for voting in the second phase of Gujarat Assembly Polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will knock the campaign and seize several rallies on Monday.

The Ahmedabad Police, however, rebuffs them permission to clutch road shows in the city. “We have shorn of permission to all road shows citing Election Commission’s guidelines; these shows might make law and order situations. The organized public meetings have been permitted to be seized. We are ready to take legal route if road show would happen,” said Ahmedabad police commissioner AK Singh.

Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader, Hardik Patel, will also be assisting a rally at Nikol in Ahmedabad district.

Here are the live updates:

Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) members congregated in Bopal, Ahmedabad to hold a road show under the leadership of Hardik Patel regardless of not having police permission.

As the routes for PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi's Public rallies are more or less the same, it could make a law and order problem and from now consent for the same has been denied. Hardik will be permitted to end at several places only for facilitation purpose, police commissioner AK Singh said.
