 IN Himachal Pradesh Assembly Election Results 2017, BJP balanced to come to power in the hill state Congress's Arjun Modhwadiya loses from Porbandar to BJP's Babubhai Bokhiriya by 1855 votes.

  In Gujarat, Polls results Prominent faces are CM Vijay Rupani, and Deputy CM Nitin Patel are leading while Congress leader Arjun Modhvadia loses.

The BJP is set to keep hold of Gujarat and form the government as per the trends. However, the party is to be expected to get reduced majority as Congress has managed to give a neck to neck fight.

Counting of votes for the critical Assembly elections in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home State of Gujarat is continuing at 37 locations from corner to corner 33 districts.

In Gujarat, the BJP is in the hunt for a sixth straight term, having detained power in the mid-nineties, as the Opposition Congress is looking for to stage a comeback with a strong-willed campaign led by Rahul Gandhi.

The Gujarat Polls also projected young leaders in the State — Jignesh Mevani, Alpesh Thakor, and Hardik Patel — from social activism to politics.
