Independent candidate Jignesh Mevani is leading by 10785 in Vadgam.

The BSE Sensex traded over 250 points upper, getting better nearly 1,150 points from its day's lowest point as ruling saffron Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took a lead in both Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly Polls. The Nifty50 index traded firm higher than the 10,400 mark, a recovery of over 350 points from day's short.

The Indian rupee also recovered and traded 5 paise upper at 64.09 per dollar.
