Most people use C cleaner app/software in their smartphones and computers to delete spaces, cache, junk files, and viruses. This is the reason why hackers are now in the pursuit of stealing data from your phone or PC by targeting it. It is being said that hackers have broken the security system of the C-cleaner software and injected malware into it and it has affected more than 20 million users. Internet security experts have found a vast download server, where they found malware inside the cleaner.

C cleaner is part of this security and anti-virus software Avast. The Cisco Security team says that C cleaner version 5.33 has multi-staged malware payloads that come into your system as soon as you install it.

C cleaner has been downloaded nearly 2 million times. Therefore hackers have chosen this as their medium. Hackers steal information about your system's IP address, network place information, credit card information and your passwords.

More than 20 million computer users are affected by this malware. Most of them are computers that have 32-bit Windows. It is being reported that the system whose version of C cleaner is 5.3, can cause problems for them. Whereas those who have updated it after December 12 are completely safe. Since these versions are available only on the computer, therefore, Android users are not at risk anymore.
