-Ingredients of Easy Paneer Tikka

1 red bell pepper

200 gm paneer

1 yellow bell pepper

1 teaspoon refined oil

1 onion

50 gm butter

1 capsicum (green pepper)

For Marination

1 cup yoghurt (curd)

1/2 teaspoon powdered black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

salt as required

1/2 teaspoon ginger paste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1 teaspoon tandoori masala

1/2 teaspoon garlic paste

1 teaspoon red chilli powder

How to make Easy Paneer Tikka

Step 1

Wash the bell peppers in running water and cut them into cubes. Next, peel the onion and cut it into cubes as well. Also, cut the paneer cube size as well and keep all the veggies aside.

Step 2

Now, prepare the marinade for the veggies. For the same, take a medium bowl and add yogurt in it along with turmeric, black pepper powder, tandoori masala, cumin powder and ginger-garlic paste. Give the ingredients a nice stir and then add salt to taste.

Step 3

Add the cubed bell peppers along with onion into the marinade and coat well with it using a spoon. Now, add paneer cubes in the bowl and gently mix. Cover the bowl and put it in the refrigerator, and let the veggies marinate for about 20 minutes.

Step4

After sometime, heat a grilled pan or tawa on medium-high flame. Brush the pan with a little butter. Then, place the marinated veggies on the pan and line them to cook. When one side is done, turn all the pieces to cook the other side as well. When the veggies are grilled, transfer them to a plate and then clean the pan. Repeat the same process to cook the remaining veggies as well.

Step 5

Arrange the cooked bell peppers, onions and paneer pieces one after another in toothpicks or skewers. Drizzle a teaspoon of oil in the pan and when the oil is hot enough, place the arranged skewers and cook for a minute. Turn off the flame and serve the pan-fried paneer tikka hot along with green chutney!
