In India, Mahindra and Mahindra is preparing to launch its new Generation Scorpio and XUV 500 in the car market. According to reports from auto sector, Scorpio and XUV 500 will be built on the new platform of Mahindra-Ssangyong. According to media reports, the company could launch the new Generation Scorpio and XUV 500 in India before 2020. As per the officials of the company, New Generation Scorpio and XUV 500 will be prepared only by keeping in mind the international emission and crash safety regulations.

In India, BS-6 rules are going to be implemented from 2020, in this case, Mahindra can get new and big changes in these two vehicles. Mahindra's current XUV500 has received 4-star ratings in Australia's crash test, it is believed that XUVs on the new platform can get a 5-star rating. Because the company will focus more on safety. For a long time, Scorpio and XUV 500 are driving on the roads of India, though the company had upgraded them in the middle but still they feel the need for a major change.

Now since these two vehicles are quite reliable in terms of performance, so far they are receiving good response from the customers. If we talk about sale, in February this year, Mahindra sold 4851 units of Scorpio and 1901 units of XUV 500. In February this year, most auto companies have registered growth in double digit.
