We often hear many stories from our ancestors and there are many stories about whom only our elders can tell us. Well, in today's time, the story is less heard from elders and more from Google. It was a wise thought, but today we are going to tell you about such a story, after which you will always be eager to know the history of India.

It is said that there was a king named Bali who was very brave. Due to their bravery, they defied the King of Indra for the war! But seeing his bravery, Lord Indra felt that if he wins, then all the kingdom of heaven will be taken away.

Significantly, the King sacrificed a very big Vishnu devotee. Now look at the dilemma that Indra Dev went to Lord Vishnu for help and then Vishnu helped Indra Dev Ji. At that time, Vishnu went to the kingdom of King Bali, not in his real form but with the incarnation of Waman Brahmin.

But then the King sacrificed a sacrifice for the prosperity of his kingdom. Even then, Vishnu went to King Bali in the same incarnation and sought a donation from him.

Vishnu had cleverly sought three steps from King Bali for land. But surprisingly, the King Bali knew that he is Lord Vishnu who has come in the Brahmin incarnation. Yet he thought that he could not let a Brahmin go empty-handed from his door.

So they got three steps to give land! But as soon as Vishnu took the first step, his foot became so big that he measured the entire land at once. Then they kept the second step towards the sky, then all the sky counted. But when the turn of the third step came, Vishnu asked Raja Bali, where to put this third step, King Bali said generously and said, Lord, keep it on my head! As soon as Vishnu stepped on his head, he fell to the ground in a straight path where only Asuro was ruled!

It is said in this story that when Lord Vishnu had taken his step towards the sky, Brahma himself washed his feet and collected all his water in a Kund. This water was also given the name of Ganga, and this is the reason why the Ganga is also called the daughter of Brahma. The quadrilateral was so big that the water collected in it was as big as a river! Ganga river was born like this.
