New Delhi: Due to poor lifestyle, the problem of high blood pressure and diabetes is increasing in the youth and due to these problems, kidney transplant has become necessary at the early age. According to Kidney Disease Experts, excessively high blood pressure, if hypertension is not treated during the time, its effect can be on the kidney.

According to the research, if there is no treatment of high blood pressure at the young age, the youth of age 20 to 40 will have kidney problems in futures. They may even have to change kidneys. Dr. P.P., Director, Kidney Transplant, Venkateswara Hospital, Delhi; Verma says that high blood pressure and diabetes are responsible for about 70% of cases of kidney failure.

According to Dr. Verma, he had a case in which a woman had to undergo transplantation due to kidney damage due to uncontrolled blood pressure. The 25-year-old woman was getting things like a headache, low appetite, dizziness and swelling in the foot. For two years this woman ignored these symptoms. But when one day the woman had trouble breathing, she was admitted in the emergency. Where the uncontrolled blood pressure and kidneys were found to be bad.

 

Dr. Manoj Kumar Singhal, Director, Nephrology Department, Fortis Noida, says that high blood pressure and diabetes are the main causes of kidney failure, while there is a high likelihood of kidney damage to occur due to high blood pressure. He also attributed the changing lifestyle to this.
