Taj Mahal which has been the glory of India since it's creation has been attracting tourists from across the globe. Well, the people who wish to see the Tah Mahal and also any other monument in India will now have to pay some extra money to enjoy its beauty. As per the reports provided by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), the entry fees of all the historical monuments has been increased.

The reports informed that the domestic visitors shall be charged Rs 10 extra, while the foreign tourist shall be charged will Rs 100 extra to witness its beauty. The Ministry of Culture informed that the foreign tourists were earlier charged Rs 1000, will now be charged Rs 1100.

Out of this, Rs 500 shall be the toll tax given to the Agra Development Authority (ADA). While the domestic tourists shall be charged only Rs 50. Also, it is worth mentioning that the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries' visitors shall be charged Rs 540, out of which Rs 500 shall be charged as the toll tax. The people who visited theTaj Mahal expressed the increase in the ticket prices has led to a decline in the number of people visiting the Taj and various other monuments. In the period of two-and-half-year, this is the second time that the prices have been increased. In the year 2016 also, the prices were increased by the ASI.
