King Khan of Bollywood has a new friend added to the endless list of fans the actor has across the globe. Though the new fan stands out from the rest on accounts of not being a human. Yes, the new fan is not a human but a humanoid robot named Sophia.

The humanoid robot is the brainchild of David Hanson, an American scientist at Hanson Robotics of Hong Kong. Sophia was presented at the World Congress on Information Technology where she amazed the audience with her instant witty answers to questions during a rapid-fire round conducted by Rajiv Makhni, group managing editor tech, NDTV.

When asked “who is her favorite actor in India”, she replied Shah Rukh Khan instantly and the audience applauded.

On being asked the best place for dating, she replied ‘space’. “Her creator is her favorite techie and the one she would like to be marooned with,” she answered a question. A humanoid robot uses artificial intelligence to interpret and understand questions to answer them.

Hanson told to the media that he hopes that fully matured robot with mind-body coordination will be a reality in the next five to ten years. Speaking on human-robot relations he was confident that robots will never be a cause of worry for humans.

“They will be friends. There should be mutual trust and respect between humans and robots,” said Hanson while speaking to media later.

Sophia is the first robot and only robot currently which can interact with humans.
