Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Hyderabad Metro Rail on Tuesday.

Forwarding of the launch, the arrangements, and security of Miyapur Metro Station sites were appropriately analyzed by the Telangana government officials and the concerned minister and personnel.

The 30 km-long first phase of the metro rail project having 24 stations between Miyapur and Nagole, would be incubated by the PM  Modi at 2:15 pm at Miyapur station.

PM Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will also take a trip by the metro from Miyapur to Kukatpally and back.

The trains would rail from 6 am to 10 pm at first and the timings would be rearranged to 5:30 am to 11 pm, depending on the traffic and demand of commuters, Telangana's Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao had informed on Saturday.

The concessionaire, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd, has fixed a minimum ticket of Rs 10 for a distance of up to two km and the maximum ticket is Rs 60 for a distance of more than 26 km.

Each of the trains would begin with three coaches and 330 people can take a trip in each coach. The number of coaches can be augmented to six depending on the traffic, Rao had asserted.

The Hyderabad Metro Rail dream project, advertised to be the world's largest public-private partnership, commenced in July 2012. It was at first planned to be fulfilled by June this year but the postponement of land attainment and other issues resulted in it exceed the time limit.
