Following a clinical performance from the bowlers, Scotland disorder with the bat in a low-scoring game but an unbeaten 88 runs from the Scottish skipper Kyle Coetzer ensured safe passage as they overcame Nepal by four wickets at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. With their third consecutive victory, Scotland became the first team to qualify for the Super Sixes while Nepal suffered their second loss on the trot. After winning important toss and choose to bat, Nepal suffered a top-order capitulation with Stu Whittingham doing the bulk of the damage against Nepal batsmen and lost half their side for 39 runs. While Nepal skipper Paras Khadka tried to hold the innings together with a knock of 63 innings, he didn't receive much support from the other end as Nepal ended up being bowled out for 149 runs. Scotland started with a couple of steady partnerships before losing quick wickets that left them at 122 for 6. However, Nepal couldn't get the better of a resolute Kyle Coetzer, who went on to score 88 runs off 136-ball knock helped Scotland to the target in the 42nd over. Scotland with 4 wickets win over Nepal.
