On 16/05/2018, IIT Madras announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech for the position of Project Associate, Project Officer.

Other Qualification Details: 
1. Qualification: M.Tech /M. E(Civil/Ocean Engg) related discipline65% marks or 7.0 CGPA and above or B.Tech /B.E (Civil/Ocean Engg) related discipline 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA and above with two years experience.

2. Desirable: Candidates should have an interest in working in the field of Wave hydrodynamics and Coastal Engineering. Exposure to CFD/numerical modelling is preferred. Two years of working experience in the relevant discipline of ocean/coastal engineering is preferred.
Age: Upper age limit for Project Technicians and Project Assistants is 28 years in case of general category (includes OBC) and 30 years in case of SC / ST candidates. They should not have completed 27 years in case of general category and 29 years in case of SC/ST candidates as on the date of announcement / advertisement. Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates
