New Delhi: The Indian team is ready to play a five-match ODI series with the West Indies after the clean sweep in the two matches Test series  to the Carrabin team. The first match will be played in Guwahati on October 21. In this series where the viewers are expecting a tough fight, the series is coming with the possibility of making a bigger record for Indian captain Virat Kohli.

Indeed, the record is of making the highest runs by any Indian batsman against the West Indies. This is now named after Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohali  is only behind just 187 runs from this record. It is expected that these 187 runs are not a big deal for Virat Kohli in the five one-day matches.

Sachin Tendulkar has scored 1573 runs in 39 matches against the Indies, during this period his average of 52.73. Virat Kohli has so far scored 1387 runs at an average of 60.30 in 27 ODIs played against the Indies. Kohli has also scored 4 centuries and 9 half-centuries in these matches. Also, considering the current form of Virat Kohli, it is highly probable that Kohli will be able to touch Sachin's record.

Well fans  are waiting for the time when Virat Kohali will set and break new records on the homeground and will be cheered by his lady love Aushaka Sharma.
