The Kings XI Punjab revealed their new jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The telecast of the event was carried out live from Punjab's social media accounts. The jersey is made out of the same colors as in the previous editions (red and silver), although the silver shade has decreased from the front, and is limited to the sides on the back of the jersey. The blue emblem, featuring a roaring lion, sits below the chest of the jersey.

Kings XI Punjab captained by Ravichandran Ashwin, who played for the Rising Pune Supergiant in the last two seasons. The Punjab side is being mentored by former Indian batsmen Virender Sehwag, who was present at the unveiling along with the newly appointed captain. Former Australian batsman Brad Hodge is the head coach of the team.

Mohit Burman, the joint owner of the Punjab franchise, tweeted out pictures of the event with snapshots of the new jersey. Post the event, cricketers who are part of the franchise, including the likes of Karun Nair, KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis, posted snapshots of the new jersey with their name at the back of it.
