In the 23rd match of the current season  of IPL being played between Hyderabad and Mumbai, Rohit Sharma's  team Hyderabad first scored target of 119 runs in front of Mumbai Indians. However, after chasing a small target, the Mumbai team looked very wretched in the first six overs. The condition was that the three batsmen of Mumbai had to sacrifice themselves even in 10- 20 runs. The third and noteworthy sacrifice was given by Captain Rohit Sharma.

When Rohit was dismissed by Shakib Al Hasan, then Mumbai's score was 21 runs after 5.2 overs. And with this, the Mumbai made a shameful record of IPL 2018. As after the completion of 6 overs, Mumbai made the lowest score in powerplay and Mumbai's team became the lowest run-making team during the powerplay in the current season. The lowest run was that of 22 runs with three wickets in hand, in which Evin Lewis (5) Ishaan Kishan (0) and Rohit Sharma (2) were dismissed. With this, Mumbai got the crown of the lowest score in PowerPlay this season.

Shamefully MI gone 87-all out in 18.5 Overs and made lowest record to score least runs of  IPL 11.

Mean while Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 31 runs in Match 23.

Apart from this SRH also scripted worst record of IPL 11 as only single six hit by Pathan occurred in the whole batting line up  while SRH posted lowest score of IPL 11.
