It was declared on March 28 last year, the Insurance Regulatory Authority of India, Bharatiya Bhima Regulatory and Development Authority, IRDA issued the new rule and issued an order to increase the rates of third party insurance premium by 40 percent. The automobile companies had protested a lot, after which IRDA decided to reduce the premium for third party insurance while making changes in its decision.

It happened that IRDA issued an order letter in March, in which a third party motor insurance premium had been proposed to increase by 50 percent. But the increase in premium due to the greater opposition of the people has been reduced compared to the proposed rate.

Apart from this, as per the IRDA's new order, the vehicle owners will have to pay only 28 per cent instead of 40 per cent for the premium for third party insurance. In this new order, 12 percent of premium will be deducted. Apart from this, it is important to take third party insurance cover before the vehicle owner is required to buy any vehicle now.
