The idea behind Feminism
The idea behind Feminism

It was probably a day before yesterday, I picked up the newspaper. As always, I blindly turned the front few pages that contained news about the Nation and World. On a Monday morning, Who would want to read about rapes and abductions.

I straightaway jumped on the entertainment section, in a hope to find something pleasant.

While I was giving a quick read to the headlines, I read something "weird". The Statement read, "I am not a feminist, I love men."

That sounded like the most irrelevant thing I could ever come across. Feminism never meant to eradicate men from our society. That plainly conveys the wrong perception of the individual towards "Feminism".

Feminism is definitely not about hating Men. It holds the idea of equality between the two prime genders that contribute to the existence of the world. The womb of our existence has been suffering from time immemorial in the name of honor, dignity and so much more.  The time demands to free her from the cage of norms. Feminism does not talk about entitling her as a goddess, it talks about her acceptance like any other human on Earth. It talks about her rights to love and to be loved.
