Varun Dhawan attended a book-launch event on Tuesday. During his interaction with the media, on being asked about signing a biopic, the actor revealed that he is extremely scared of doing biopics.

The actor also said he does not really want to do biopics. His approach to even the fictional characters of his movies is like a biopic. Talking about his upcoming movie, ‘Sui Dhaaga’, the actor revealed that he is playing a tailor in the movie. Varun added that his character is not particularly based on a person, but his observation of people around.

Varun said if ever he had to do a biopic, it would be his father’s then. It would be based on his early life until Varun was born.

Talking about people’s reaction towards historical movies, the actor said that it is a double-edged sword, whatever you do, you’ll be criticised. A section of people will always criticise you.

On the professional front, the actor has completed his movie “Sui Dhaga- Make in India”.

Varun is also a part of Kalank, based on the 40s. he has also agreed to the movie Ranbhoomi, which is slated to release in 2019.
