India -Canada hold bilateral talks to boost trade and investment

EAM Sushma Swaraj warmly received the Foreign Minister of Canada Chrystia Freeland ahead of the FM-level Strategic Dialogue between the two countries. The two plural democracies keenly talked about to build upon the strong compartmentalize of existing India -Canada strategic partnership.

EMA talking head Raveesh Kumar took his official Twitter handle  and said ,”EAM @SushmaSwaraj and Canadian Foreign Minister @cafreeland had wide ranging discussions on strengthening relations in trade and investment, security and cyber security, energy, people to people contacts and other relevant bilateral and regional issues”, he tweeted. 

Meanwhile during the seven day visit canadian premeir raized khalistan controversy as The official twitter handle of ANI reported,” Jaspal Atwal, a convicted Khalistani terrorist who was active in the banned Int'l Sikh Youth Federation, photographed w/Canadian PM's wife Sophie Trudeau at an event in Mumbai on 20 Feb. He was also invited for formal dinner with Canadian PM, invite being rescinded now (CBC News)” ANI wrote.

Khalistani terrorist Atwal clarified his occurrence at the Mumbai event, where he was clicked with the  Canadian PM's wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau(Sophie Grégoire Trudeau also known as Sophie Grégoire, is the wife of the 23rd and current Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau)asserting that he was present in Mumbai on Business meet,  as reported by Vancouver Sun.
