NEW DELHI: An India Today-Axis survey of voters in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh has forecasted contented victories for BJP in both poll-bound States, with Congress and other parties straggling with the saffron party by approximately 10% of the vote.

According to this survey, BJP could squeeze HP from Congress by winning 43-47 seats, while Congress may stalk with 21-25 seats in the 68-seat assembly. HP will hold the election on November 8, and the Gujarat poll dates are expected to be announced today.

In the politically noteworthy voting in Gujarat, BJP is likely to get a hold of 115-125 seats, with Congress at 57-65. BJP is forecasted to get 48% of votes against 38% for Congress. The survey points towards Hardik Patel's group a poor show for with no seats won.

The BJP tally, based to this survey, could be better the 2012 results, as the party is the victor of115 seats with Narendra Modi as CM while Congress had won 61 seats in the 182-member House.

Gujaratian's hold up for PM Modi remains integral as 66% said his elevation had been advantageous for the state, against 31% who saw no gain. Nearly 74% of the respondents experienced the Modi government had done well or very well.

The survey specifies Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani is the most well-liked contender for the post, with the support of 34% of the people.

 In this row, Shaktisinh Gohil of Congress is next with 19%. Late Congress stalwart Madhavsinh Solanki's youngster and recent Congress state party head Bharatsinh Solanki is third, with 11%.

The survey points towards that BJP will get avoidance of displeasure over GST. Only 38% said they were contented with the GST legislation, whereas 51% expressed their annoyance.

Likewise, on demonetization, 44% found it unbeaten whereas 53% were against it. The survey was carried out from September 25 to October 15, for the duration of which views of 18,243 people were hunted in all the 182 assembly constituencies in the state.
