India declare their first innings at 622-9

The Indian team declares its first inning score on Day Two of the second Test being played at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground (SSC) today at  622-9. They resumed the Two at 344-3.

Indian players  Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane scored centuries while  Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha scored a half centuries which helped India to score such a good score.

While Pujara (133) and Rahane (132) contributed to the bulk of the total, Jadeja, Ashwin and Saha scored 70*, 54 and 67 respectively.
