Team India defeated the West Indies by 10 wickets in second teat in Hyderabad. India has performed well in all the departments and won the second and last test match within three days to register 2-0 whitewash. In third day, India needed to achieve target of just 72 which India has achieved without any loss of wicket. Opner Prithvi Shah (33) and Lokesh Rahul (33) achieved the target in 16.1 overs.

In first test match, India had defeated the West Indies team in the Rajkot Test with an innings and 272 runs. In the first innings, the visiting team made 311 runs in 101.4 overs in the first innings and Team India had scored 367 runs in 106.4 overs losing all wickets in the first innings. India had a 56-run lead in first inning. The second innings of the West Indies was reduced to just 127.

As far as the bowling department of team India is concerned, all the bowlers have successful restricted West Indies batsmen to make a big score. Umesh Yadav's maiden 10-wicket haul (6/88 and 4/45) played an important role in winning the second match with so much ease and register a 2-0 whitewash.
