Showing a number of outstanding performances from its athletes, India has ultimately well concluded its Commonwealth Games 2018 campaign clinching the third spot with 66 medals, including 26 gold, 20 silver and 20 bronze.

This is India's Third-best performance at the multi-sports carnival. In the home ground, India had clinched 101-medal hauls at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games.

India finished with two more medals than the last edition of CWG 2014 in Glasgow. But what's more, eye captivating with respect to medal tallies is that India has almost doubled the number of Gold medals from 2014.

In Glasgow India bagged 15 Golds, while there have been 26 at Gold Coast.

Shooters bagged the most number of medals - 16, followed by the wrestlers (12), weightlifters (9), boxers (9), table tennis (8), badminton (6), athletics (3), squash (2) and para powerlifting (1).
