India enforces the follow-on to Afghanistan in its maiden Test

Bengaluru [India], June 15 (NT): India have enforced the follow-on over guest team Afghanistan in a India vs Afghanistan, Test series, Day 2.

This was the lowest score made by any debutant team in the history of Test Cricket who played in the debut match.

In 27.4 over when Afghanistan was 109/9 R Jadeja to Rahman, gave FOUR- a tremendous boundary! Back-to-back boundaries! Rahman once again connected with the reverse sweep through short third man.

But in 27.5 overs Afghanistan lost his all wickets 109/10 when R Jadeja to Rahman, OUT! One shot too many by Mujeeb! No fifer for Ashwin as Jadeja finishes things off. He bowled it quicker and on middle, Rahman came down the track and swang but missed. The keeper collected the ball and took the bails off. Afghanistan were all out for 109!

Earlier All-rounder Hardik Pandya struck a roasting half-century before Indian side were bundled out for 474 in their first innings just before lunch on the second day of the one-off maiden Test match of Afghanistan at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Friday.

 Star player Rashid Khan also bagged two wickets at the same time as conceding huge 154 runs, while Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi took a wicket each.
