The second day of India vs England test series over ended with the wicket of Alastair Cook for duck and England with 9/1 at stumps thus getting lead of 22 runs over India.

If day 1 of first test between India and England belong to Indian Bowler then Day 2 was of English bowlers. The English bowler restricted to Indians batsmen at the 274. The Indian batting order collapsed before the English bowling. Only Indian Skipper Virat Kohli smashed the ton (149) and keeps India in the game.

Indian top order failed against the lethal bowling attack of the English team. Murli Vijay, Dhwan, Rahane, Dinesh karthik all failed to respond well to English bowler. But even after falls of the wickets at regular interval, Indian Skipper fought single handily and smashed his 22nd test century and added crucial 149 runs to India's score.

If the bowling attack of England is considered then it proved very lethal for the Indian betting. Sam Curran took 4 wickets whereas James Anderson, Ali Rashid and Ben stokes bagged 2 wickets each.

Now again it is turn of Indian bowler to prove themselves once again in this match. They needs to restrict English team to make a huge score. Off spinner R. Ashwin can play an important role in this inning also and able to destroy English batting order.
