The erstwhile head of INX Media, Indrani Mukerjea has been in jail since she has been accused of murdering her daughter Sheena Bora.
Sheena was Indrani’s daughter from her first affair and was brought up by her grand parents since Indrani shifted to another part of the country for the sake of her career.
On growing up, Sheena came to know about Indrani and moved to Bombay, to stay with her. Indrani introduced Sheena to everyone as her younger sister. Sheena then grew contacts with her father. Annoyed with the same, Indrani, along with her husband decided to murder Sheena.
On Friday, recently Sheena has filed an application in the court for her bail in the CBI Court in Mumbai.
Two months before, Sheena’s brother Mikhail Bora informed some facts regarding Indrani in the special CBI Court.
She had previously told the court that she was concerned about her life, and confirmed that she had not spoken to anyone for a long time.
2 weeks before the statement, she was hospitalized in the JJ Hospital after being diagnosed with a drug overdose.
Over a financial issue, Indrani killed her daughter in April 2012 after which she is in Mumbai's Byculla jail.
She was arrested in August 2015.
