Every year the whole world celebrates 29th June as the world Tiger day with the objective of enhancing the awareness towards the protection of the tigers. Many organizations are focusing on the protection of this beautiful and brave animal. These organisation spread awareness about the conservation of the tiger and appeal to save them what here the questions that arise is why we should give importance to tiger conservation.

World Hepatitis Day: Find the missing millions

The one important reason to save this animal is that if tigers go extinct, the entire eco-system will collapse. Whenever a species goes extinct it harms the ecosystem to a considerable extent. Tiger is a top predator which is at the apex of the food chain and plays an important role in maintaining the balance between prey herbivorous and the vegetation. The presence of this animal in eco-system ensures that it is in good condition. If Tiger gets extinct our ecosystem would also not be able to survive for the longest time.

The bottom line we need to conserve this creature to protect ourselves. It is important for the responsible authority to develop effective strategies to provide a favourable condition for the Tigers. We are late, still, our efforts can make this creature live longer with us. We need to raise the awareness about the conservation of this creature to save our ecosystem.
