Iran Prez Rouhani to begin his 3-day India visit from Hyderabad today

President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani will arrive in Hyderabad on his three-day maiden visit to India on Thursday.

From Persian Gulf nation The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani will pay a state visit to India at the invitation of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi from February 15 to 17, the press release from the website of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Wednesday.

President Rouhani will be accorded a ceremonial reception on February 17 and then he will call on President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Modi.

“Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will travel to India on February 15,” the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) said. The visiting   Iranian Prez will deliver a special address at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) on Saturday.

During his visit, the Iranian President will talk about the latest regional and global developments with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders.

The Iranian President will deliver his address to a gathering of Muslim intellectuals, clerics and leaders in Hyderabad on the first day.

 Apart from this He will address a Muslim congregation at the Mecca Masjid after Friday prayers at the historic Hyderabad mosque on Friday.

The Iranian Prez is likely to visit historic sites in Hyderabad, including the Qutub Shahi Tombs at Golconda, before leaving for New Delhi.
