Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and Actor Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2017. The movie was helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar who is a close friend of Katrina. Ali and Katrina have collaborated before for ‘Meri Brother Ki Dulhan’ and hence share a great rapport with each other.

After reached into 300 club ‘TZH’, Ali will be seen directing Salman Khan in Bharat. The female lead of the movie is yet to be known. When Ali was asked about the same by a leading daily, he said, “I haven’t finalised the cast yet. But Katrina is always on my mind when I think of my film’s heroine. She is one of my closest friends and I can tell her anything, she can tell me anything. Yes, we won’t be doing all our films together but I know I can approach her whenever I feel she’s correct for the role. But right now, nothing is decided on Bharat yet.”

Katrina is said to be one of the contenders for the role. Given her closeness with Alvira and Atul Agnihotri, who are producing the movie, it might be a close call clearly. Meanwhile, Katrina is currently busy with Aanand L Rai's Zero where she will reportedly be seen playing herself. In the movie, Katrina will be seen reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma after Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

She also has Aamir Khan-Amitabh Bachchan-Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer Thugs of Hindostan in her kitty where she has a pivotal role.
