Bollywood Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic historical drama movie ‘Padmavati’ is in troubled waters unpaid to the opposition it is facing from the right-wing outskirt groups, Rajasthan-based Rajput Karni Sena in particular.

Given the huge disturbance around the film and its trouble with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the film has been postponed unquestionably with its fate unknown. While the condition for the film don't seem to be ending anytime shortly, the mischievous elements are trying to cash in on its popularity. Fake videos disguising as the film Padmavati have surfaced on YouTube and as can be expected, are getting tremendous views on the video-sharing platform. These fake videos, unfortunately, have led several citizen to believe that the film has indeed leaked on the Internet giving it negative publicity. Of course, that is not the case and the film is in safe hands.

But, the makers of Padmavati, we feel should be cautious because Padmavati is one film that is facing resistance from several circles. In such a situation, the possibility of it being leaked online cannot be ruled out. After Mohalla Assi, Great Grand Masti, Udta Punjab and many other films, Padmavati could well be the next victim of online leak. Padmavati, that stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in key roles, has been facing the anger of fringe groups for almost eight months now.

In February this year, the film's sets in Jaipur were vandalized by some members of the Rajput Karni Sena and director Bhansali was physically assaulted by villagers. Karni Sena, led by Lokendra Singh Kalvi, has a problem with an declared romantic sequence between Padmavati and Mughal Emperor Alauddin Khilji. Bhansali has repeatedly denied that there is no such sequence in the film
