In the latest episode of Ishqbaaz, Abhay's past is revealed and it is shown that he is also one of the Oberois. His dad, Vishal, is a cousin of Tej and Shakti. When the factory got burnt, he was unceremoniously chucked out of the house and all professional ties were severed with him. It is also learnt that Tanya is helping Abhay in his mission to ruin the Oberoi family. Shivaay calls Anika and informs her about his plan. He tells her he will go missing at the memorial organized by him and asks her to keep an eye on everyone. Anika then meets Abhay, who pretends to be happy for Shivaay and her.

Tania and Abhay meet in a room. While she is in a romantic mood, Abhay scolds her for being careless and not taking care of Shivaay's whereabouts. He asks her to go and find out from Anika where Shivaay is. Meanwhile, Bhavya is shown to be looking out for work. After several disappointments, she lands up a job at a fashion house.

At the memorial, Tej, Shakti, Pinki and Jhanvi talk about Shivaay and how he is missing. Anika keeps a watch over them. She greets the reporters.
Tej and Shakti spot Shukla there. They track him down and ask him about the tapes. He tells them he didn't destroy them and they were taken by a man, who threatened to kill him, if he didn't give him the tapes. Anika sees the man and the Oberois with him. She informs Shivaay about it. Elsewhere, Bhavya learns that Rudra is her boss, and she has been hired as his bodyguard.
