It is very easy to make a person cry but it is very difficult to make someone laugh. Nowadays the filmmakers and tv serial producers are experimenting with the comedy genre. Many comic reality shows and daily soaps are running on television. These shows are gaining popularity day by day and people too like watching such shows instead of that saas-bahu drama. But it was not a case before.

Divayanka Tripathi a popular face of telly town worked in 2 most popular comedy shows but she never gets any recognition for them. People didn’t even remember that she worked in comic shows also.

In an interview, Divanka told that “It is really tough to do comedy. But once you have done comedy, playing a dramatic or romantic role, or doing a thriller is a cake walk. You become a pro with spontaneity and timing while doing comedy. It teaches you so much about acting and nuance. I salute all the comic actors who go unnamed or don’t get their due. I feel they are actually playing an important part on Indian TV and upping the level ”

Divyanka previously worked in comedy serials like Mrs. & Mr Sharma Allahabadwale and Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story.
