Srinagar. Army personnel and policemen got a big success in the ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu Kashmir last night. Army jawans and police personnel have killed three terrorists in this encounter. However, a young man in this encounter lost his life. J&K DGP Dilbag Singh adrresing to the media reports said that bodies of 3 terrorists recovered and 2 identified. He added that one was Mehraj-ud-din Bangroo & another Faid Mushtaq Waza. He further informed that Arms & ammunition recovered.

Worth mention here Mehraj-ud-din Bangroo was wanted in several cases of killings, weapons snatching & other militancy related activities:

The encounter between the army's security forces and the terrorists started at around 2 am last night in Jammu and Kashmir's capital Srinagar at Fateh Kadal area, which continued till this morning. This information has been given to the SSP from Srinagar recently in a press conference organized on this matter. According to the police, some time before he was aware of some terrorists hide in this area. After this Jammu Police jointly conducted the operation in collaboration the army in which they killed three militants.
