On the very next day of the second anniversary of the commander of Hizbul Mujahideen Burhan Wani, the army has been alert in Jammu and Kashmir. A terrorist was killed in the operation on Monday morning in Handwara, Kupwara district of the valley. The militants and army personnel were encountering from Sunday night only.

On July 8, it was the anniversary of  Burhan Wani, for which security was increased significantly in the valley. Mobile Internet services were banned in four districts of South Kashmir, Kulgam, Shopian, Anantnag and Pulwama. While the Amarnath Yatra was also stopped.

Amarnath Yatra was stopped in view of the announcement of the closure by separatists on the occasion of the anniversary. From this, the number of Amarnath pilgrims had to stop in Kathua in the number of about 1000, while more than 15,000 passengers were stopped in Jammu, Udhampur and Ramban districts.

It is noteworthy that on 7th July, terrorists attacked the troop of CRPF in Badgam. During the search operation of the army on Saturday morning in rocky areas of Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir, stone bags have raged. However, when the army tried to remove them, stone makers opened a front against the army. During this, there was a clash between the two and three civilians died in this. The dead also includes a minor girl. At the same time, more than 13 people, including 3 soldiers, were injured in the clashes. After the violent clashes, Internet service has been stopped in Kulgam and Anantnag.
