Former Jawaharlal Nehru University student  Kanhaiya Kumar on Sunday cornered Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a “nalayak” (useless) son who could not look after of his mother.

He was addressing a meeting during the ‘Save Constitution March’ in Mumbai on Sunday. Kanhaiya Kumar cited Prime Minister Modi’s fuming retort to alleged abuse of his mother by members of grand old Congress party, saying he was attacking the Prime Minister himself and not his mother.

He stated, “Prime Minister says that people make disrespectful remarks against his mother. I am not saying anything about his mother, but I am calling him ‘nalayak’ for failing to take care of his mother.”

At an event in the national capital Delhi lately, the former JNUSU president had made similar alleged statements by saying that only a ‘nalayak’ son can make his 90-year-old mother Hira ban stand in a bank queue, citing Prime Minister Modi’s mother’s visit to a bank during note ban .

Taking another crack at the Prime Minister on Sunday, Kanhaiya Kumar called him a “good actor” asserting he would have received the best actor award “had he been in Bollywood”, asked Kanhaiya .

He said the former JNUSU president, who is likely to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Begusarai in Bihar as a Mahagathbandhan candidate.

This came on a day when Prime Minister Modi trained a gun at his opponents for allegedly targeting his parents. Earlier The Prime Minister claimed that the outburst was launched at the command of Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
