Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan was frustrated by politicians in the house as MP Sachin Tendulkar was interrupted during his first speech continuously on December 21. It is shameful, Jaya Bachchan said, condemnatory the flutter in the house severely.

“Sachin Tendulkar has earned the name for India at the global level. It is a concern of disgrace that he was not allowed to speak up, even when everyone knew it was on today’s schedule. Are only politicians allowed to speak? If a person is treated like this, why would he come to the house?” Jaya Bachchan, a Samajwadi Party MP, told reporters outside the Parliament.

Master Blaster cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, on Thursday, was unable to make his inaugural speech in the Rajya Sabha amid flutter by Congress members over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks against his predecessor Former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh, leading to Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu blasting the opposition before adjourning the House for the day.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar also sweep the Congress for obstructing Tendulkar's speech.Soon after the House met at 2 p.m., Sachin Tendulkar rose to speak on the Right to Play and future of sports in India as part of a short duration discussion. But he could not speak amid noisy protests by Congress members.Naidu urged Congress members to allow Tendulkar to speak as he was to give his maiden speech in the Upper House.
