IPL franchise team Rising Pune pace bowler Jaydev Unadkat was born on 18-10-1991, in Porbandar in the state of Gujarat, India. He is an Indian Cricket Player who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. Jaydev Unadkat is also representing Saurashtra Cricket Association. It was coach Ram Odedra who first saw him play at the Duleep Singh School of Cricket in Porbandar. He trained him initially and he made his way into the U-19 Indian squad. He played the 2010 Under-19 WC and was India’s premier fast bowler. He was immediately roped in by the IPL team KKR. After which, he made his first-class debut and it was a dream debut as in his very first match against the visiting West Indies A team, he sent half of the side back to the pavilion.

Jaydev Unadkat is not part of India squad in upcoming series against Kiwis in India but he is schedule to play for his Ranji trophy team. At the domestic level, he kept on taking crucial wickets and that brought him to reckoning in the national side. When India toured South Africa in 2010, he was finally included in the Test squad and made his debut. Three years later when India toured Zimbabwe and the senior players were given the rest, he was handed the responsibility to spearhead the Indian bowling attack. He has played 7 One Day Internationals thus far and has taken 8 wickets. His height is his biggest strength. His in-swinging deliveries have troubled the best of batsmen’s. After playing for various IPL franchise and with not much of a success, he put all of that behind him and has had a dream run at the 2017 IPL.
