The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating a man detained in the alleged case of a Jet Airways Airways lumbering and threatening to hijack a plane. Officers of the Ministry of Aviation gave this information. This case is related to a flight of Mumbai-Delhi on October 30 last month. Due to this slip, the aircraft had to land in an emergency on the Ahmedabad airport.

Jet Airways could have flights from Hijack, an official of two suspected Ministries caught in a mistake today said that the case has been registered against the person under the amended Hijack-proof law. NIA is investigating this matter. The newly amended law has made stringent provisions for taking action against those who are violating it.

Civil Aviation Secretary R. N. Chaube said that this matter needs to be handed over to them (NIA). The Ministry wants to investigate this matter under the amended Hijack-proof law.

According to security agencies, the note said: “The aircraft is covered by hijackers, should not land in Delhi, should be flown straight to PoK [Pakistan-occupied Kashmir].”

“Mr. Salla was detained by police after preliminary investigation... It was revealed that Mr. Salla had put the threat letter in the plane’s washroom. We will take necessary action against him,” an Ahmedabad police official said.
