Bihar's Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar has said that his party in Jharkhand is not a coalition of JDU with the ruling BJP. He said that JDU's preparation is to contest the elections on all 14 Lok Sabha and 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand. Kumar, while speaking to the media at Dhanbad Circuit House on Thursday, said that JD (U) has an alliance with BJP in Bihar alone. That is why they are ready to contest the elections on all the seats of Jharkhand.
National President of JDU and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has entrusted Shravan Kumar as Coordinator to strengthen the party in Jharkhand. In this regard, Kumar was on Dhanbad tour on Thursday. He discussed with the party leaders and workers in the circuit house to strengthen the organization. The minister said that on 25th June, all district headquarters of Jharkhand will be protesting against local problems from JDU.
After this, the demand letter will be handed to the Chief Minister through the Deputy Commissioners for the solution. After the demonstration, the party will review and prepare further agitative programs. The Bihar minister also targeted the Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das on the issue of power crisis in Dhanbad. He said that Dhanbad does not have electricity for 8 to 10 hours.
People are screaming due to the power crisis. Given the problems of the people, the Chief Minister should review the power. Significantly, in Jharkhand, the power department is with the Chief Minister Raghuvar Das. He said that the State Government is responsible for providing basic amenities like water, electricity, education and health to its citizens. If the people are not getting the facilities then the state government should review. While advocating construction of flyovers and airports in Dhanbad, the minister said that local leaders and activists of JDU will agitate for this. ​
