Jim Sarbh is a brilliant actor who has given phenomenal performances in many hit films like Raabta, Neerja, Padmaavat, and Sanju. The one thing common in all the characters he played was that they were negative. The actor now got bored of playing negative characters in the films.

On playing the negative role, the actor said that When he played these roles, they were the only ones that were offered to him. However, now he has the liberty to be a lot more selective. He further added that I am a little bored of playing negative characters. I want to now look at meaty, complicated roles. He is not interested in one-sided characters.

In all his films he played a negative character whether it is Malik Kafur of Padmaavat or Khalil in Neerja, all were in the negative shade. On playing a negative role continuously the actor said that he is really tired of playing a character who don’t care about people. The actors has shown is interest towards playing the positive character by saying that now he wants to start portraying characters who care about people.

The performance of Jim in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directed Padmaavat was brilliant and he received appreciation from the audience as well as the critics. The actor also gave outstanding performance in movie Sanju as Zubin Mistry.
