A case has been registered in Madhya Pradesh, under which several journalists have been promoting Padmavati. After that, the case was registered on it. Nimach's senior journalist Jinendra Surana wrote on his Facebook wall the remarks made by Home Minister Bhupendra Singh regarding the Padmavati award to the victim of the gang-rape victim of Bhopal, "Rape the Madhya Pradesh and get the Padmavati award."

Many people commented in their own way on this post.  Khargone Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG) AK Pandey said, "This post of Surana is treacherous and inspiring for others to rape. So taking it in self-awareness, the police has registered a case in Kotwali police station."

He said that the matter is being investigated. It is also being examined, what action can be taken on those who have commented on them. Surana says that on the basis of the statement of the state home minister, he wrote this comment on his Facebook wall as a gesture. But the police filed the case without understanding its intention.

Surana told that he has been the Chief of Neemuch Bureau for 10 years. These days, he is the special correspondent of daily newspaper publication of Nimcha. He said that if the same verdict and satire will be made a crime then people will forget to say the same.
