Chennai: Inviting the debate as using the controversial phrase “saffron terror”, actor Kamal Haasan asserts that the “right wing cannot challenge the fact that there is no Hindu terror.”

“The right wing cannot challenge anyone asking the question - Show me, one Hindu terrorist? Terror has spread into their camp as well. Such terror activities are not going to help them in any which ways...” utters Kamal Haasan in the column, headlined by“One cannot say there is no Hindu terror anymore.”

The column comes in reply to the question asked by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan  had asked Haasan’s view over “Hindutva forces” that are diluting Tamil culture.

In Hassan’s regular column in a well-liked Tamil weekly news magazine, he writes, "The right wing cannot challenge talk of Hindu terrorists because terror has spread into their camp as well."

"Hindus are losing faith in 'satyameva jayate' and instead subscribing to 'might is right,'" Kamal writes.

62-year-old Kamal Haasan has accused the ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu of being trickled in corruption, visited the Kerala Chief Minister last month and said: "saffron is not my color" to signal an abhorrence to any association with the Saffron Party BJP.

For months, he has been 'talk of the town ' for launching his own political party; last week, he said fans to be ready for "a big announcement" on November 7, on his birthday.
