This movie is based on the story of great warrior Rani Laxmibai who fought against the Britishers for her kingdom Jhansi. In today’s time where Biopics are doing quite good business and its give enough space for the actor to show his/ her acting potential. It is a fine opportunity for very talented Actress Kanaga to showcase her talent to fullest and to mesmerise the audience.

The film looks promising but there were rumours of the fallout between Kangna and movie director Krish. There was news that one of the shoots was completed without the director as he was busy in the shoot of NTR Biopic and Kangana had to donned the hat of Director to complete the shoot. Kangana refuted the rumours by saying that it’s not true and they speak every day. Krish has another release on January 11Ranaut and could give dates only after that. She further added that they don’t want to bring another director on board nor do she want to take away anyone’s credit. It’s a huge responsibility, she broke down the other day.
