Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah has come back with a reply after being slammed by Modi in a rally on Monday. The Prime Minister had accused the Karnataka Government of being a commission driven government. CM Siddaramaiah hit back on Modi by accusing him of facilitating corruption, referring to PNB fraud. He took to Twitter for replying to Modi’s accusation.

“You made common people stand in queues to deposit their money in the banks and then let Nirav Modi run away with Rs. 12,000 crore of people's money,” he tweeted.

Prime Minister Modi had attacked Siddaramaiah on many issues during his rally at Mysuru.

"I received many calls from people after I said at a rally in Bengaluru recently that a 10 percent commission government was ruling the state. They said the commission was more than 10 percent. You decide if you want a commission or a mission government,” Modi had said addressing a rally in Mysuru on Monday.

CM Siddaramaiah slammed Modi for making such false statements and told had someone from Mysuru been in power, he would not let a fugitive run away. CM Siddaramaiah hails from Mysuru.

Karnataka has state assembly polls in May this year.
